This is a project I completed as I was learning how to rig. I applied concepts and techniques as I learned them. This rig’s got twist joints, IK and FK controllers with a switch, as well as blend shapes for the face and body type. I gained a lot of experience in the node editor, component editor, and I was able to write a short MEL script that helped me create and place initial controllers. I used consistent and logical naming conventions which helped me stay organized and made it an easy project to return to. My goal while building this rig was to make it intuitive for an animator.
